House Approves $7.5 Million for ALSRP!

On May 18th, the House of Representatives passed the FY 2013 Defense Appropriations Act and included $7.5 million for the ALS Research Program (ALSRP), a 17% increase! This is an important victory, especially considering that Congress is looking to cut and eliminate spending—not increase it. It is clear that outreach and personal stories are making a difference!

The National ALS Registry:

The National Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Registry enables persons with ALS to fight back and help defeat ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). By signing up, being counted, and answering brief questions about your disease, you can help researchers find answers to critical questions. The National Directory is designed to garner valuable information for research, provide a better understanding of ALS, and ultimately provide a chance to help create a better future for persons with AlS.
